About us

Changing Times began in 2019 as a grassroots newspaper — a project that would later spark the creation of the Humanitarian Changemakers Network. Since then, we’ve grown into a global community of changemakers, engaged citizens, and life-long learners (through our School of Social Impact) dedicated to building a more just, sustainable, and compassionate world.

Our Mission:

To empower people with knowledge, amplify grassroots changemakers, and make social change accessible to everyone.

Changing Times News is here to help you not only understand the world as it is, but imagine the world as it could be — and give you the tools to help create it.

A New Kind of News for a Changing World

At Changing Times News, we believe the media has a vital role to play as the fourth estate — holding power to account, amplifying diverse voices, and providing citizens with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions. In an era where traditional media often narrows its focus to sensational events or partisan divides, we aim to reclaim journalism as a tool to strengthen democracy. By connecting people with reliable information, systemic insights, and solutions-focused reporting, we seek to nurture a more engaged, thoughtful, and empowered public.

What Makes Us Different

  • Evergreen Knowledge Base – At the heart of Changing Times News is our wiki-style library. Every article connects back to deeper issue pages where you can explore context, causes, and solutions in more detail.
  • Transmedia Storytelling – Our journalism is interconnected. Articles, podcasts, explainers, and resources form a web of knowledge where you can dive as deep as you want.
  • Daily Conversations – With new podcast episodes every weekday, we amplify the voices of changemakers and answer real questions from our community.
  • A Focus on Solutions – We don’t stop at identifying problems — we ask: What can be done? Who’s doing it? How can we all be part of change?
